Continuing Broadway Week on LIVE With Kelly & Ryan, Kelly Ripa went backstage at Broadway’s Tony-nominated Tootsie.
The show, currently nominated for 11 Tony Awards, stars Tony nominees Santino Fontana as Michael Dorsey/Dorothy Michaels, Lilli Cooper as Julie, Sarah Stiles as Sandy, and Andy Grotelueschen as Jeff. Directed by nine-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis, the musical is the stage adaptation of the beloved Dustin Hoffman flick.
Ripa, who worked with Ellis on her sictom Hope & Faith, decided to pay a visit to the Marquis Theatre. But Ripa had an ulterior motive: a quest to get the red Tootsie dress. Watch her as she plays around with the cast of the musical onstage and backstage.
