Jordan Fisher has been cast in the upcoming romantic comedy Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between, expected to premiere Summer 2022 on Netflix. He will also serve as an executive producer and contribute original music.
Variety reports that he'll be starring in the movie alongside Talia Ryder, who made her Broadway debut playing Hortensia in Matilda the Musical. Ryder most recently starred as Tessa in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story remake.
Based on Jennifer E. Smith’s novel of the same name, the movie will center around the young couple Claire and Aidan, respectively played by Ryder and Fisher, and their pact promising to go their separate ways before college. The movie will follow their last date, as a couple.
The comedy will be produced by ACE Entertainment, which previously backed the fan-favorite To All the Boys franchise. Fisher starred as John Ambrose McClaren in the movie's sequel, titled To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. The upcoming rom-com will mark the feature film directorial debut of Michael Lewen and will also star Ayo Edebiri (Big Mouth) and Nico Hiraga (Moxie).
Fisher was last seen on the Broadway stage playing the title character in Dear Evan Hansen at the Music Box Theatre, finishing up his run last month. He's also been seen on Broadway as John Laurens and Phillip Hamilton in Hamilton.
