Stage to Page Jonathan Groff Talks About His "Glee" Return as Jesse St. James (Video) Jonathan Groff, who plays Vocal Adrenaline member Jesse St. James on the Fox hit series "Glee," reunites with his Spring Awakening co-star Lea Michele for the final episodes of this season.

In last week's "Prom Queen" episode, Jesse St. James returned as Michele's prom date and sang a cover of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep."

Groff is back in this week's episode, which is entitled "Funeral." In the episode "New Directions continues to strategize their set list for Nationals with a little help from Jessie St. James. Meanwhile, an unexpected loss rocks the world of one of McKinley's own."

On Good Day New York, Groff chatted about the show, but would not divulge who will die in the episode airing at 8 PM ET. Since Groff had also signed on for the season finale, he could only confirm that he will not die, but said, "Anything can happen."
