Serge Kushnier, who was seen on Broadway in Hairspray, developed the 15-minute short film, which recently made it to the quarterfinals of a Sundance-based screenwriting competition.

In the film, according to press notes, "two estranged brothers have to bury their loathsome father when they discover only one of them is entitled to the inheritance." Shooting will take place Feb. 25-27 in Stratford, ON.

Serge and Jeremy Kushnier's brother, musician Bryce Kushnier, provides music for "Will."

Jeremy Kushnier, who currently plays Tommy DeVito in Broadway's Jersey Boys, has also been seen in Rent and Footloose.
