VH1 Save The Music will present a one-night-only benefit concert celebrating the music of the late George Michael, who died December 25, 2016. The evening will feature a line-up of performers from the stage and screen including Hamilton star Javier Muñoz, Emmy nominee Tituss Burgess (The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story), and Erich Bergen (Madam Secretary, Jersey Boys).
Elvis Duran is set to host the event, which will take place April 24 at the Highline Ballroom in New York City.
Each of the artists will take the stage to celebrate the legendary career of the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, which spanned more than 20 years and sold over 80 million records.
Proceeds will benefit VH1 Save The Music’s initiative to restore school music programs across the nation. Tickets, from $40, are on sale today and can be purchased at on.vh1.com/gottahavefaith.
Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
