Tony Award-winning British actor Derek Jacobi will star in a revival of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya when the Roundabout reopens in its new theatre on West 42 Street -- the site of the former Selwyn Theatre.
A production spokesperson confirmed the report but was unable to offer specific performance dates or the names of any additional cast members at this time.
Construction continues at this time on the Roundabout's new Times Square theatre.
Jacobi won a Tony for Much Ado About Nothing and has appeared on Broadway in Breaking The Code, Cyrano de Bergerac and The Suicide.
