News "It's In Your Hands Now": Sondheim's Road Show Cast Recording Released June 30 The PS Classics-Nonesuch Records cast recording of Road Show, the first new Stephen Sondheim musical delivered to New York audiences in 15 years, arrives in stores June 30.

PS Classics co-founder Tommy Krasker produced the recording of Road Show, which made its world premiere Off-Broadway at the Public Theater last fall. The single CD features the complete cast of the Public Theater production.

The 17-track cast recording arrives with lyrics, a full synopsis and liner notes on the development of the musical, as well as black-and-white photos of the Off-Broadway engagement at The Public and the Feb. 23 recording session. Artwork also includes a rendering of Addison Mizner's 1919 creation El Mirasol.

Featuring a book by John Weidman and a score by Sondheim, Road Show spans 40 years of American history, from the Gold Rush to the Florida real-estate boom in the 1930's. Press notes for the work read: "Road Show is the story of two brothers whose quest for the American dream turns into a test of morality and judgment that changes their lives in unexpected ways."

Tony-winning Sweeney Todd director John Doyle helmed the production, which featured Tony winner Michael Cerveris and Alexander Gemignani as the eccentric Wilson and Addison Mizner, respectively.

The cast also included Alma Cuervo as Mama, William Parry as Papa, Claybourne Elder as Hollis and ensemble members Aisha de Haas, Colleen Fitzpatrick, Mylinda Hull, Mel Johnson, Jr., Orville Mendoza, Anne L. Nathan, Tom Nelis, Matt Stocke, William Youmans and Kristine Zbornik.

Krasker also co-produced the Nonesuch Records world-premiere recording of Road Show's earlier incarnation, Bounce, which played out-of-town engagements in Chicago and Washington, DC in 2004.

PS Classics and Nonesuch Records previously united to record the Grammy-nominated cast album of the 2006 Broadway revival of Company.
