Invasive Species at The Tank has extended performances through June 29. The production opened for a limited engagement June 3, and was originally slated to run through June 11. Pulitzer Prize finalist Michael Breslin is at the helm of the new work by Maia Novi.
Written as a response to debates around mental health policies on campus at Yale, Invasive Species follows the mental journey of a Latina acting student navigating the American entertainment industry as an immigrant artist. Starring are Maia Novi, Sam Gonzalez, Alexandra Maurice, Julian Sanchez, and Raffaella Donatich.
The production features choreography by Beth Gill, sound design by Jessie Char and Maxwell Neely-Cohe, and lighting design by Yichen Zhou.
