The Sanitation Foundation and WE♥️NYC have announced The Great Broadway Sweep, the largest volunteer cleanup effort in New York history.
Beginning September 18 and continuing through September 22, the program seeks to clean the 13 mile thoroughfare that is Broadway, stretching across Manhattan to form one of the most famous streets in the world.
There will be nine morning cleanups, starting on both the north and south ends of the city, culminating September 22 in the theatre district for a huge celebration hosted by Andy Cohen and presented by Amazon.
