Winners will be drawn at 10 AM ET and 3 PM ET one day prior to the performance. Rush tickets will also be available in-person at the box office on the day of each performance at 10 AM. The tickets are priced at $42 with a limit of two tickets per person.
To kick off the opening of the Two Strangers box office, a Box Office Celebration will be held October 6. In addition to a special appearance by the cast, the first 200 people in line at the Longacre Theatre will have the chance to purchase select preview performance tickets priced at $48. The first 100 people in line will also receive a cupcake from Magnolia Bakery and tickets purchasers will be given an Only-in-NY Opportunity to spin the NYC Prize Wheel for the chance to win a pair of tickets to iconic NYC attractions (including ARTECHOUSE, Big Bus Tours, Bronx Beer Hall, The Brooklyn Museum, City Line Cruises, Edge NYC, The Museum of Broadway, Rise NY, Serendipity 3, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, Top of the Rock, Vessel NYC, and more, while supplies last). Tickets are limited to two per person.
Romantic musical comedy Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) will play Broadway's Longacre Theatre beginning November 1 prior to an official opening November 20.
Written by Jim Barne and Kit Buchan, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) follows a naïve and impossibly upbeat Brit, Dougal, who has just landed in New York for his estranged father’s second wedding. When Robin, the sister of the bride, picks him up from the airport, they embark on an serendipitous adventure through New York City.
Prior to Broadway, the musical made its North American premiere at Harvard University's American Repertory Theater in May. The show's leads are Christiani Pitts (Broadway's King Kong) and Olivier winner Sam Tutty (Dear Evan Hansen), who both starred in the A.R.T. production (Tutty also originated the role of Dougal in London). It is directed and choreographed by Tim Jackson (who also oversaw the show in London).

The musical previously played the Off-West End Kiln Theatre and the West End’s Criterion Theatre.
In addition to direction and choreography by Jackson, the Broadway production will feature scenic and costume design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound design by Tony Gayle, music supervision by Nick Finlow, and orchestrations by Lux Pyramid. Casting is by C12 Casting's Stephen Kopel.
A London cast album is available on all major streaming platforms.
The musical is being produced on Broadway by Kevin McCollum, Tim Johanson, Glass Half Full Productions, and Jamie Wilson Productions.
