Casting is set for Rattlestick Playwrights Theater’s upcoming Off-Broadway premiere of Samuel D. Hunter’s Lewiston & Clarkson, a double-bill of companion plays examining the lives of modern-day descendants of American explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark.
Lewiston will feature Arnie Burton (Peter and the Starcatcher), Kristin Griffith (Animal), and Leah Karpel (Porto), with Clarkston starring Heidi Armbruster (Time Stands Still), Edmund Donovan (The Snow Geese), and Noah Robbins (Grease: Live).
Presented in one evening, audiences will share a communal meal-break, either packing food of their own or by pre-purchasing a catered meal "in the spirit of Idaho cuisine."
Davis McCallum (The Whale) directs the production, beginning previews October 10 before an October 25 opening night. The run is currently scheduled through December 2.
Set design is by Dane Laffrey, with costumes by Jessica Wegener Shay, lighting design by Stacey DeRosier, and sound design by Fitz Patton.
