Hot on the heels of leading the pack in the 2019 Tony Award nominations, Hadestown can look ahead to a box-office bump. The musical joined the Millionaire’s Club in the week ending May 5, grossing $1,055,456 (96.5 percent of its potential).

Also reaching seven figures for the first time was Tootsie, taking in $1,256,769 after earning 11 nods April 30.
