Brinberg will also perform a few tunes from the new CD, which is entitled "Simply Barbra: The Duets Album." Matt Cavenaugh, currently on Broadway in Grey Gardens, will join Brinberg for the performance. The recording on the LML label features duets with Alix Korey, Heather Mac Rae, Karen Mason, Debbie Gravitte, Claiborne Cary and Hugh Panaro. The latter will join the real Streisand on her upcoming international concert tour.
Brinberg will also be performing in several venues around the country: On May 12 he will join Marvin Hamlisch and Julie Budd for a concert with the Colorado Symphony in Denver; he will return to the Metropolitan Room in Manhattan May 21 (special guest is Mary Poppins' Brian Letendre), June 25 and July 23; he will play the Blue Moon in Rehoboth Beach, DE Aug. 22 and Raffael's in Hull, MA Sept. 21. Brinberg has also booked dates this fall in England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
