News "Give Way": Pasek and Paul's Dogfight Will Get NJ Premiere in 2015 Dogfight, the musical by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul and Peter Duchan that tells the story of three marines on the eve of their deployment, will be given its New Jersey premiere in February 2015 at the Old Library Theatre.

Helmed by director-choreographer Amy Eileen Shera, performances will be offered Feb. 13-22, 2015, in Fair Lawn, NJ.

Dogfight, based on the Warner Bros. film and screenplay by Bob Comfort, features music and lyrics by Tony Award nominees Pasek and Paul

Here's how it's billed: "It's November 21, 1963. On the eve of their deployment to a small but growing conflict in Southeast Asia, three young Marines set out for one final boys' night of debauchery, partying and maybe a little trouble. But when Corporal Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an awkward and idealistic waitress he enlists to win a cruel bet with his fellow recruits, she rewrites the rules of the game and teaches him the power of love and compassion."

Other members of the creative team include musical director David Maglione and stage manager Andy Calderone. Julie Galorenzo
produces.
