TRADE and Mary Motorhead, two one-act operas by Emma O'Halloran and librettist Mark O'Halloran, open at LA Opera April 27. Presented by LA Opera and Beth Morrison Projects, the double bill is directed by Tom Creed and conducted by Elaine Kelly.
The monodrama Mary Motorhead stars Naomi Louisa O'Connell as a convicted murderer. TRADE stars Kyle Bielfield and Tony nominee Marc Kudisch as a rent boy and his client, a closeted family man, meeting in a cheap hotel in Dublin.
