The Gospel According to Heather will release an Off-Broadway cast recording through JAY Records this March, with a date soon to be announced. The production opened Off-Broadway last summer, running at Theatre 555 from June 14 through July 16, 2023. In anticipation of the full album's release, an initial song is available to preview. In The Gospel According to Heather, Heather Krebs wants a boyfriend, but how can she navigate her way through high school if she might be the new Messiah? A small town in Ohio grapples with politics, religion, and teenage romance in the pop musical featuring a book, music, and lyrics by Tony nominee Paul Gordon (Jane Eyre).

Starring are Carlos Alcala, Lauren Elder (Hair), Badia Farha (School of Rock), Maria Habeeb, Jeremy Kushnier (Atomic), Maya Lagerstam, Katey Sagal, Carson Stewart, Zach Rand, Brittany Nicole Williams (The Prom), and Wayne Wilson. Rounding out the company as understudies are Armando Gutierrez, Georgia Kate Haege, and Sarita Amani Nash.
