CHICAGO -- Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Footsteps Theatre, Chicago's principal women's theatre company, is debuting its third annual contribution to Women's History Month. Warrior Queens, which opens Mar. 1 in a staging by Sandy Borglum, employs an actress playing 1984 vice presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro to narrate what is billed as a tribute to "other famous females who have led their troops into battle."
Footsteps revels in its revisionism: Its warriors are "violent, bloodthirsty wielders of power -- these ladies called the shots and were often worshipped for it! Boadicea forever!" For information call 773- 878-4840.
