FX's Pose, starring Billy Porter, Mj Rodriguez, and Dominique Jackson, will return for a third season. The trailblazing show centers on the ball culture scene and features the largest cast of transgender actors on a major TV network.
The news comes shortly after Season 2 debuted June 11 to critical acclaim. The show has been consistently lauded for its examination of LGBTQIA+ youth, the transgender community, and the AIDS crisis.
The cast also includes Dyllón Burnside, Sandra Bernhard, Angel Bismark Curiel, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Indya Moore, Angelica Ross, Hailie Sahar, and Charlayne Woodard. Patti LuPone is set to guest star as Manhattan real estate tycoon Frederica Norman this season.

The show jumps ahead from 1988 to 1990 in Season 2, just after the release of Madonna’s hit single “Vogue,” which was heavily influenced by the ballroom scene.
No details have been released about Season 3, which is likely still in development by show creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals.
