Lange, who previously indicated the current "AHS: Coven" would be her last, has signed on for the fourth season. Each season, which features returning cast members from the franchise alongside new stars, has a fresh dramatic arc.
Ratings for the current season, which also includes Tony Award winners Patti LuPone, Christine Ebersole and Denis O'Hare, have surpassed the previous two seasons of the FX franchise.
"American Horror Story" has garnered 7.74 million total viewers, up 77 percent from the premiere season "Murder House," and up 83 percent from last season's "Asylum."
"Coven" also features Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Emma Roberts, Alexandra Breckenridge and Jamie Brewer.
