News From Sondheim to Miley Cyrus, Alan Cumming Makes His Cafe Carlyle Debut Tonight Alan Cumming makes his Cafe Carlyle debut June 2 with the solo concert Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, featuring songs by a diverse range of artists including Billy Joel, Stephen Sondheim, Bob Dylan, Jerry Herman and Miley Cyrus.

The solo show is also interspersed with personal stories from the Tony-winning performer's life on Broadway. Cumming is joined on stage by his long-time musical director Lance Horne on piano, Eleanor Norton on cello and Chris Jego on drums.

Performances continue through June 13.

Cumming, who is preparing to co-host the 2015 Tony Awards with Kristin Chenoweth, recently finished up his starring role in the Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway revival of Cabaret. His stage credits also include Macbeth, The Threepenny Opera and Design for Living.

Performances take place Tuesday-Friday evenings with the choice of an earlier show at 8:45 PM or late-night option at 10:45 PM. Tickets can be purchased by phone at (212) 744-1600 or by visiting ticketweb.com.
