The starry concerts — featuring composer Wildhorn at the piano — were to benefit The Nevada Conservatory Theatre at UNLV. Jeff Calhoun was to direct with musical direction by Koen Schoots. Broadway artists Linda Eder, Lea Salonga, Rob Evan and Douglas Sills were scheduled to perform.

A Wildhorn spokesperson told Playbill.com, "The concert has to be cancelled as the producers of the event have defaulted on their obligations to Frank, the performers and all others involved after repeatedly giving assurances that they would and could fulfill their obligations." Wildhorn added, "Though we are sad about the situation, we all believe so much in this, and are all going to work to give it the life it deserves. The rehearsals were amazing!"

Frank Wildhorn is the composer of The Civil War, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Jekyll & Hyde. His newest musical, Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure, will play the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center beginning Nov. 4.
