News For Theatregoers, Parades and Traffic Disruptions Are Expected Oct. 2 -3 Minimal traffic disruptions are expected in the theatre district and nearby areas of Manhattan Oct. 2-3, and while the disruptions are minor, certain events are worth mentioning so that patrons can plan and avoid delays.

Minimal traffic disruptions are expected in the theatre district and nearby areas of Manhattan Oct. 2-3, and while the disruptions are minor, certain events are worth mentioning so that patrons can plan and avoid delays.

On Sat., Oct. 2, there will be three crane operations forcing the closure of streets. All three closures will be in effect Sat., Oct. 2, 8 AM-6 PM, although local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times. The street closures will affect W. 50th St. between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, W. 51st St. between Sixth and Seventh Avenues and W. 52nd St. between Sixth and Fifth Avenues.

On Sun., Oct. 3, The Pulaski Day Parade will close Fifth Avenue from 26th St. north to 52nd St. As may as 20,000 are expected to attend the parade event.

Also on Sun., Oct. 3, 1999 the Korean-American Day parade will close Broadway from 41st St. to 23rd St., Noon-5 PM.
