STEWART/WHITLEY CASTING INTERNSHIP
Seeking a full-time casting intern to begin in late May 2019. Must be available to interview ASAP. Looking for smart, pleasant, motivated individuals with terrific organizational and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who wants to learn about all aspects of theatrical casting from the ground up and will bring a positive attitude into the office and the casting room. Strong communication skills are key; a good sense of humor and thick skin are a plus. Prior experience in a casting office or talent agency/representation office is REQUIRED.

NEW YORK CITY CENTER ADMINISTRATIVE APPRENTICESHIPS (paid)
City Center is searching for engaged and dedicated early-career individuals to apprentice in Education, Communications, Development, Marketing, and Programming. Paid training included. Apprentices work 20 hours per week and are compensated $15/hour.

We have quickly grown to a team of more than 80 full-time employees in four offices in three cities across the country and the world. We've completed two successful rounds of funding, and we're seeking highly motivated team members to join us in disrupting an old supply chain model, creating greater access to theater, and expanding the theatergoing audience.

PART-TIME DEVELOPMENT/SPECIAL EVENTS INTERN- (paid)
Primary Stages seeks a development intern for the summer semester. Primary Stages is an Off-Broadway not-for-profit theater company dedicated to inspiring, supporting, and sharing the art of playwriting. Interns form a core of support in all areas of the company’s operations gaining experience in their chosen department while receiving a weekly stipend of $50, free tickets to all Primary Stages’ productions, and mentorship seminars with senior staff. Our program offers the opportunity to develop practical skills while creating relationships with artists and administrators at one of New York City’s preeminent Off Broadway theaters.

ARTISTIC-LITERARY AND PRODUCING INTERNSHIPS- (paid)
Join Barrington Stage Company, an award-winning professional theatre in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts! We are seeking last minute interns in the following categories. The Summer Internship program starts May 27 and runs through mid/late August.

The Artistic/Literary intern is an advanced internship position and we ask that candidates be at least 20 years old, in their final year of undergrad, already graduated, or currently in grad school. Experience in script analysis required.

Candidates for the Producing internship should be at least 20 years old, have experience in multiple areas of theatremaking, be willing to work evenings and weekends and be ready to jump in and work in all aspects of producing to make a show happen.

TDF ACCESSIBILITY PROGRAMS GRADUATE INTERN- (paid)
Theatre Development Fund (TDF) seeks a NYC graduate student to intern in our internationally recognized theatre accessibility department. TDF Accessibility Programs (TAP) provides a membership service for theatregoers who are hard of hearing or deaf, have low vision or are blind, who cannot climb stairs or who require aisle seating or wheelchair locations. Additionally, TAP also runs 6 autism-friendly performances on Broadway, and has both a National Open Captioning Training Program and National Autism-Friendly Performance Training Program serving theatres across the country and internationally.

SOUND INTERN - IMMEDIATE HIRE- (paid)
Florida Studio Theatre is seeking a qualified Sound Intern to join us for the 2019-2020 season. Intern will work with production team on locating and creating sound cues for production. Learn and operate the Yamaha digital sound console, program and operate the Q-Lab computerized sound playback system. Strong possibility of design work for interested candidates.

GAMUT THEATRE CORE COMPANY INTERN- (paid)
Gamut Theatre Group is seeking a skilled, responsible, and knowledgeable Actor/Teacher Intern (ATI) for its 2019-20 season. Due to the composition of the Core Company for the upcoming season, Gamut is auditioning female applicants only. Gamut Theatre will mentor the ATI on not only acting and teaching, but also many of the operations and systems necessary to run a successful theatre. ATI will have multiple opportunities to act and teach throughout the season.

COMPANY MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP
Company Management Interns will have the opportunity to learn practical skills from the WTF Company Management Department. Company Management Interns will be supervised by the Company Manager and Assistant Company Managers. Interns will learn vital skills in professional company management, with a particular emphasis on festival operations. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and listening skills, be people-oriented and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Company Management department is fast-paced but must be well-organized and detail-oriented. A good sense of humor and the ability to adapt to changing situations is a plus.

This internship offers a wide variety of knowledge for those interested in commercial producing, general management, and company management. NYC THEATER SUMMER CAMP INTERN- (paid)
Urban Stages seeks an intern for its summer theater camp with piano experience! Intern should have experience devising original theater, and be confident assisting theater and voice classes, supervising lunch and field trips, leading warm-up activities, and collaborating with the leadership team. Candidate must be comfortable accompanying students on piano and assisting with music lessons.

GENERAL MANAGEMENT INTERN
The General Management Intern at DTE MANAGEMENT will have a front row seat to development, rehearsal and production of a Broadway show. Throughout the internship, the intern will get an overview of the Telecharge ticketing system and may work with financial, banking and accounting software systems. Our fast-paced office is looking for an industrious intern to join our hardworking team for the summer as we prepare for the busy 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 touring seasons. Under the supervision of the Booking and Operations Manager, this position will offer opportunities for direct involvement across multiple projects.

Our interns gain insight into the live entertainment touring industry; acquire knowledge of the tour booking process, deal analysis, and engagement contracting; and develop a familiarity with the major touring markets and Presenters in North America.

MUSIC ASSISTANT FOR A NEW MUSICAL PRODUCTION - CAN WORK REMOTELY
We're looking for a music assistant to join our creative team to help us with notational edits, copyist work, and possible light orchestration for a production at the Adirondack Theatre Festival this summer. We're premiering a brand new musical and will be crafting changes throughout the production rehearsal process, as well as preparing the score and orchestrations for before rehearsals start. Hours are flexible and will vary throughout the rehearsal process. The music assistant can work remotely, but will be in daily contact with the composer and music director.

Four-time Tony Award winning producer is seeking a part-time intern (15hrs/week) to manage the day to day operations of the company. Candidates should be organized, possess excellent writing, communication, and problem-solving skills, and have a strong interest in the production side of theatre.

SUMMER PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM
In the 10-week intensive of the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, designed to challenge and develop emerging theatre artists, participants will be immersed in hands-on training in three first-rate venues (including our popular Outdoor Stage and our new 50,000ft2 support facility), take classes with established industry professionals and world-class artists, and have opportunities to showcase their talents in late-night projects for the company. Intern must strong knowledge of theater and will help managers support a roster of clients. The ideal candidate must be professional, discreet, extremely resourceful, and well-organized. Prior industry/agency experience helpful, but not required. We desire somebody who can think two steps ahead and is able to juggle multiple priorities calmly, follow-up on details until a project is complete.
