Producer Van Dean, along with fellow producers Stephen Bray, Frank Filipetti, Roy Furman, Scott Sanders, Joan Raffe, and Jhett Tolentino, as well as performers Danielle Brooks, Cynthia Erivo, and Jennifer Hudson won the Best Musical Theater Album for The Color Purple on February 12. Van Dean recently received the official, engraved Grammy. Playbill was given an exclusive look May 24.
