Mr. Barton also appeared on Broadway in The Red Shoes. His numerous international credits include roles in Dance of the Vampires, Beauty and the Beast, Cats, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. Mr. Barton died in Germany in 2001, age 47. Stage Door Records previously released Barton's "Only for A While," which featured 14 unreleased tracks.
