The musical, a collaboration between Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents, will begin performances Oct. 1 prior to an official opening Oct. 4. It will continue through Oct. 19.

Helmed by 42nd Street Moon artistic director Greg MacKellan, Do I Hear a Waltz? will feature Tyler McKenna as the Italian who woos Skinner's Leona. The cast will also include Taylor Bartolucci, Jonah Broscow, Nikita Burshteyn, Lucinda Hitchcock Cone, David Naughton, Stephanie Rhoads, Michael Rhone and Abby Sammons.

Here's how the production is billed: "Based on Arthur Laurents’ 1952 play The Time of the Cuckoo, which inspired the Katharine Hepburn movie 'Summertime,' the wistful story follows a lonely American tourist as she finds romance under the enchantment of mid-1960s Venice."

Skinner's theatre credits include Side Show, The Full Monty, Billy Elliot, Jekyll & Hyde, James Joyce’s The Dead and Dinner at Eight.

McKenna has performed in The Best of Times: The Jerry Herman Salon, Annie Get Your Gun and Oh, Kay!

Do I Hear a Waltz? opened on Broadway March 18, 1965, at the 46th Street Theatre with a cast that featured Sergio Franchi and Elizabeth Allen in the lead roles. The musical received three Tony Award nominations including Best Original Score. It has never been revived on Broadway.

The production will feature musical direction by Dave Dobrusky, set design by Hector Zavala, costume design by Felicia Lilienthal and lighting design by Danny Maher.
