Conceived and directed by UMC artistic director Ben West, performances are scheduled for March 11-12 at the Connelly Theatre, 220 East Fourth Street.
The cast will feature Obie Award winner Donna Bullock (Ragtime, A Class Act), Astaire Award nominee Rachel de Benedet (Catch Me If You Can, Adrift in Macao) and Drama League nominee Kristin Maloney.
Nothing is Forever is described as a "dazzling musical portrait of one woman at three different decades in her life. Romance, cynicism and regret intertwine in this evocative and timely tale set in New Orleans’ vibrant French Quarter."
The production will also feature musical direction and arrangements by Fran Minarik and lighting design by Joe Hodge. The new song cycle was created using original material written circa 1977 for the unproduced Broadway musical Enter Juliet.
Tickets, priced at $18, are now on sale via SmartTix.com or by calling (212) 868-4444. For more information, visit www.UnsungMusicals.org. *
