London News Donmar Warehouse's's The Cherry Orchard Finds Full Cast

Benedict Andrews will direct his new version of the work.

Full casting has been revealed for the Donmar Warehouse production of Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard. Benedict Andrews will direct his new version of the work, which will play the London venue April 26–June 22.

Chekhov's final play follows Russian aristocrat Lyubov, who returns from Paris to her childhood estate, which is due to be sold. The work highlights the growing irrelevancy of the Russian upper classes as the former peasant class begins to gain power.

Starring are the previously announced Nina Hoss and Adeel Akhtar as Liubov Ranevskaya and Ermolai Lopakhin, respectively. They will be joined by Sarah Amankwah as Charlotta, Nathan Armarkwei Laryea as Yasha, David Ganly as Boris Simeonov-Pishchik, Michael Gould as Gaev, Éanna Hardwicke as Semyon Epikhodov, Daniel Monks as Pyotr Trofimov, Marli Siu as Varya, Sadie Soverall as Anya, Posy Sterling as Dunyasha, and June Watson as Firs. 

The production will feature design by Magda Willi, costume design by Merle Hensel, lighting design by James Farncombe, sound design by Dan Balfour, composing by May Kershaw of Black Country, New Road, voice coaching by William Conacher, and casting by Anna Cooper.
