"Strange Faces explores the lives and families of three young people with Asperger’s syndrome," press notes state. "Peter, Laura, Jamie, and their loved ones come to life in a collage of soaring music and idiosyncratic humor. Inspired by real-life interviews, Strange Faces tackles the universal themes of love, relationships, commitment and the countless ways we use those words."
Strange Faces features additional lyrics by Brandon Michael Lowden, music direction by Meg Zervoulis and is stage managed by Justyn Wade.
Strange Faces was originally presented in a workshop production at the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University in 2011. The reading is produced by Zach Zamchick (Red Hanger Productions) and Kelvin Dinkins, Jr. (Columbia University MFA in Theatre Management & Producing) and fiscally sponsored by Royal Family Productions.
