Mike Faist, a Tony nominee for his performance as Connor Murphy in the Tony-winning Dear Evan Hansen, has landed a role in the new Amazon Studios YA pilot Panic, according to Deadline.
Created and written by Lauren Oliver, the series—based on her best-selling book—will also feature Olivia Welch and Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut. Oliver produces with Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum.

Faist has been cast as new-kid-in-town Dodge Mason, who will join the other graduating seniors in an illicit game of high stakes for a chance to escape their rural town.
Welch will play the leading role of writer Heather with Chestnut as witty Natalie. Leigh Janiak will direct the pilot.
