They succeed Arthur Darvill and Zrinka Cvitešić, the latter of whom won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
Hunter originally joined the show in July last year to understudy the role of Guy. After training at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Hunter appeared as a contestant on Andrew Lloyd Webber's Superstar! on ITV to find an actor to play Jesus in his arena stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar, where he became a semi-finalist and placed fourth. Theatre credits include One Man, Two Guvnors in the National Theatre's production on the U.K. tour and at the Adelphi Theatre, Seussical at the Arts Theatre, a concert version of The Who’s Tommy at the Prince Edward Theatre and The Hired Man at Colchester's Mercury Theatre and Leicester Curve.
Winternitz studied at UCLA and the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia before training in the U.K. at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She made her West End debut starring as Baby in Dirty Dancing at the Piccadilly Theatre and then on tour around the U.K.
They are joined by Fiona Bruce (Baruska), Jamie Cameron (Emcee) Mark Carlisle (Da), Matthew Ganley (Svec), Mathew Hamper (Andre), Daniel Healy (Eamon), Loren O’Dair (Reza), Miria Parvin (Ex-girlfriend), Tim Prottey-Jones (Billy) and Jez Unwin (Bank Manager). Alternating the role of Girl’s young daughter Ivanka are Juliana Cotton, Demi Lee, Gemma Loader and Ruby Payne.
