David Hare's Grace Pervades is moving to London's West End following a summer world premiere at Theatre Royal Bath, with a limited engagement to begin at Theatre Royal Haymarket in April 2026. Exact dates are to be announced. Tickets will go on sale next month.
Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison will both reprise their performances from the play's world premiere run as Victorian stage stars Henry Irving and Ellen Terry, respectively. The work centers on their brilliantly troubled children and the entire family's contribution to the English theatre. Jeremy Herrin will again direct.
Further casting, by Jessica Ronane, is to be announced.
The production features set design by Bob Crowley, costume design by Fotini Dimou, lighting design by Peter Mumford, sound design by Elizabeth Purnell, music by Paul Englishby, associate direction by Joe Lichtenstein, and movement direction by Lucy Cullingford.
The premiere run finished performances last month. The production reunites Fiennes with Hare after the two collaborated on Straight Line Crazy, about NYC urban planner Robert Moses. Fiennes starred in the bioplay in London and at Off-Broadway's The Shed, both in 2022.
Theatre Royal Bath Productions, Len Blavatnik, and Danny Cohen (for Access Entertainment) are producing the West End bow.
