The ongoing North American tour will resume in October in Nebraska.

Casting is now set for the continuation of the North American tour of Tina—The Tina Turner Musical, which will hold technical rehearsals and then kick off October 8–11 at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska, subsequently visiting over 60 cities.

The non-Equity tour—which launched in September 2024 with American Idol and America's Got Talent finalist Jayna Elise (formerly known as Jayna Brown) and Mona Swain sharing the role of rock icon Tina Turner—will now be led by Darilyn Burtley. Burtley is a Chicago-born actor who has performed at the Lyric Opera of Chicago as well as in the TV series Chicago P.D. and The Chi. India Shelbi Boone will play Tina at certain performances.

The cast will also feature Monty Kane as Ike Turner/Ronnie Turner, K. Bernice as Zelma Bullock, Eva Ruwé as Gran Georgeanna, and Eleni Kutay as Rhonda Graam/Toni Basil.

The ensemble includes Brooke Aneece, Brooke Bailey, Moriah J. Baskett, Tiffany Beckford, Lamar Burns, Kyle Channell, Meleeke Christopher, Lee Thomas Cortopassi, Keemar Robert Davis, Claire Davy, Tiyanna Gentry, Jordan Estella Hankerson, Jonathan Heller, Auset Jones, Kianna Kelly-Futch, Collin Kilfeather, Morgan Lewis, Danezion Ezekiel Mills, Hans José Mueh, Jadyn Romè, Ned Way, Richard Yarrell III.

Based on the life of Grammy winner Tina Turner and produced in association with Turner, Tina—The Tina Turner Musical received its world premiere in April 2018 at the Aldwych Theatre, where it continues through September 13. The Broadway production opened in 2019 and played its final performance at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre August 14, 2022. Tony winner Adrienne Warren opened both productions.

The touring production is directed by Phyllida Lloyd with associate direction by Sharika Niles, choreography by Anthony van Laast, associate choreography by Janet Rothermel, set and costume design by Mark Thompson, associate scenic design by Brian Webb, costume coordination by Kaitlyn Barrett, additional music and arrangements by Nicholas Skilbeck, music supervision by Alvin Hough Jr., lighting by Bruno Poet, associate lighting design by John Viesta, assistant lighting design by Ken Wills, sound by Nevin Steinberg, associate sound design by Jaechelle Johnson, projection design by Jeff Sugg, associate projection design by Simon Harding, animation by Brittany Bland, orchestrations by Ethan Popp, wigs, hair, and makeup design by Campbell Young Associates, hair and wig coordination by Liz Printz, and casting by Murnane Casting.
