At the Tony Awards, after the statues are given to the winners, they are taken to the media room, where they speak to journalists about their prizes. Playbill was able to have some one-on-one time with some of the 2023 Tony winners. We spoke with Danny Feldman, artistic director of the Pasadena Playhouse, which is the winner of this year's Regional Theatre Tony Award.

Watch the video above to see Feldman's reaction to winning, including how he almost drove off the road when he found out his theatre had won. The Regional Theatre Tony Award is announced in advance, so that meant Feldman knew before the news was made public. He also admitted that he should win a Tony Award for keeping a secret.
