News Dame Diana Rigg Launches Scottish Arts Center

Dame Diana is to perform a turf-turning ceremony to mark the creation of the macRobert Arts Center in Stirling, Scotland, on Sept. 26.

As well as a 500 seat theatre there will also be a smaller children's theatre, children's room, a cinema and a gallery.

Dame Diana, one of Britain's leading classical actresses, is chairwoman of the center, which expects to have its radical redevelopment work finished at some point in August 2002, with the theatre open for business the following month.
