News D. Sabella Will Debut Cut Song from The Visit in Kander and Ebb Tribute The four evenings will be presented at the Metropolitan Room in Manhattan.
D. Sabella, who originated the role of Mary Sunshine in the long-running, Tony-winning revival of John Kander and Fred Ebb’s Chicago, will celebrate that musical's 20th anniversary with four performances at the Metropolitan Room.

Sabella’s show, which is entitled Loopin the Loop — A Celebration of Chicago and the Music of Kander and Ebb, will be presented November 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 9:30 PM. The evenings will feature music from the Chicago revival, with “insider tidbits and backstage stories from the early days of the mega-smash hit, gleaned from Mr. Sabella’s ten-year involvement in the show.” The singing actor will also perform music from 70 Girls 70; Zorba; and Flora, The Red Menace and will offer the public premiere of a duet that was cut from The Visit. The latter will feature special guest Jana Robbins.

Music director Mark Hartman will lead a trio of musicians.
