A handful of stage and screen veterans will embrace the unknown by joining the roster of rotating guest stars in Off-Broadway's Nassim. In the play, the actor is handed the script in a sealed envelope at the start of the performance—similar to the Iranian playwright's previous work, White Rabbit Red Rabbit.
Joining the engagement are Emmy winner Peter Grosz (The President Show) December 14, Keilly McQuail (Her Requiem) December 15, Tony nominee Omar Metwally (Guards at the Taj) December 15, Alex Marino (The Daily Show) December 16 afternoon, Ben Steinfeld (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) December 18, and Tony nominee Craig Lucas (The Light in the Piazza) December 19.
Among those previously announced to take part are Scott Adsit (30 Rock) December 16 evening, Armando Riesco (The Happiest Song Plays Last) December 20, and Tony nominee Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!) December 21, as well as Tracy Letts, Cush Jumbo, Michael Urie, Michael Shannon, Reed Birney, and Tedra Millan.
The Barrow Street Theatricals production, directed by Omar Elerian, opened at New York City Center December 12. Performances are scheduled through April 2019. Additional guests will be announced at a later date.
