Corey Cott, star of Broadway's Newsies, will moderate a Q&A following the 10 PM screenings Oct. 3-4 at the Williamsburg Cinemas with actor Aaron Beelner, writer-director Matthew Perkins and special guests.
Written and produced by Perkins and Dugan Bridges, the film marks Perkins' directorial debut and features Beelner, Kay Cannon (writer of "Pitch Perfect," "Pitch Perfect 2," "New Girl," "30 Rock"), Hiller (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Love's Labour's Lost), Hildreth (Cinderella, Peter and the Starcatcher, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Coffey (Bronx Bombers), Michael McGlone ("Person of Interest") and members from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
The film, according to press notes, "follows the plight of Herman, a struggling dwarf actor (newcomer Aaron Beelner) who is tired of being typecast and overlooked for bigger roles. He sets out to be cast as the Tin Man in Martin Scorsese's remake of 'The Wizard of Oz.'"
