The 2:45 PM event, according to press notes, kicks off "The Broadway League’s annual Kids’ Night on Broadway and affords young people the opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre and participate in special activities hosted by the cast and crew of participating Broadway shows."
The Fan Festival will feature children from Broadway Kids Care — a group of actors who have been or are currently on Broadway and do service for the community — who will speak about the Broadway Green Alliance; and a musical performance by 12 kids from Camp Broadway, a national touring summer camp.
Following the press event, families will be able to tour the famed wax museum and enjoy a host of theatre-related activities, including a Broadway dance studio with Corbin Bleu and cast members from other shows; theatrical makeup stations; Broadway karaoke; a Broadway tattoo parlor; Autograph Alley with Broadway casts; and more.
Madame Tussauds New York is located at 234 West 42nd Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.
