Conductor Rafael Fr‹hbeck de Burgos was injured in a car accident in Belgrade on Friday, October 15, the web site Musical America reports.
The 71-year-old conductor was not seriously injured, but he has canceled his appearances from October 22-24 with the Orquesta Nacional de Espaê±a, at which he was to lead Mahler's Symphony No. 2 ("Resurrection").
