Comedian Tim Murray and SLee will lead Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man Off-Broadway, the play's second Off-Broadway outing. Based on the best-selling book of the same name, the comedy invites audiences to an interactive sex tip seminar. Sex Tips will play New York City's AMT Theater beginning November 10.
Set in a local university auditorium, Sex Tips centers on Dan Anderson, author of the novel Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, who is speaking to the students of the English department for a "Meet the Author" event alongside Robyn, the shy and studious moderator of the discussion. With the help of a hunky stage assistant named Stefan, Dan decides to turn the talkback into a sex tip seminar. Tim Murray and SLee will star as Dan and Robyn, respectively.
The play, penned by Matt Murphy, is produced by Tom and Michael D’Angora. Additional cast and creative team members will be announced soon.
