News Cleveland Will See Spring Awakening, Mary Poppins, Frost/Nixon and LuPone & Patinkin in 2008-2009 A Chorus Line will kick off Cleveland's Playhouse Square 2008-2009 season, which will also boast a visit from Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin.

Playhouse Square – comprised of Cleveland's State, Palace and 14th Street Theatres – will offer its audiences a season of musical and non-musical firsts with tours of Spring Awakening, Frost/Nixon, Legally Blonde and Mary Poppins. Also on the schedule is a visit from the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, a resident production of I Love You Because and An Evening with Patti LuPone & Mandy Patinkin.

The stage adaptation of the Disney film stars Broadway's Ashley Brown as the titular nanny. Songs in the production include "Chim Chim Cher-ee," "A Spoonful of Sugar," "Let's Go Fly a Kite," "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," and new songs penned by Drewe and Stiles.
