Tom Felton, who played Harry Potter’s arch-nemesis Draco Malfoy in all eight Harry Potter films, is now reprising the role in Broadway's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Check out photos of Felton, who began performances November 11, 2025, in the gallery below.
Felton, who has returned to the part for the first time in nearly 15 years, is playing an extended limited engagement through May 10. The role marks his Broadway debut. He is also the first actor from the original Harry Potter film to join the stage production, which takes place 19 years after the end of the original series. Felton's arrival has sent the box office soaring, breaking records at the Lyric.

In an earlier statement, Felton said, “Being a part of the Harry Potter films has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Joining this production will be a full-circle moment for me, because when I begin performances in Cursed Child this fall, I’ll also be the exact age Draco is in the play. It’s surreal to be stepping back into his shoes—and of course his iconic platinum blond hair—and I am thrilled to be able to see his story through and to share it with the greatest fan community in the world. I look forward to joining this incredible company and being a part of the Broadway community."
The Broadway company also currently features John Skelley as Harry Potter, Emmet Smith as Albus Potter, Aidan Close as Scorpius Malfoy, Trish Lindstrom as Ginny Potter, Daniel Fredrick as Ron Weasley, Rachel Christopher as Hermione Granger, Kristen Martin as Delphi Diggory, and Janae Hammond as Rose Granger-Weasley.
