Stroman and Brooks, along with late co-writer Thomas Meehan, reworked the show for its new incarnation. Changes include revisions to dialogue and lyrics to cater to a London audience. Some songs from the original have been cut, and two new numbers have been added.
The cast is led by Hadley Fraser as Frederick Frankenstein, with Lesley Joseph as Frau Blücher, Summer Strallen as Inga, Ross Noble as Igor, and Dianne Pilkington as Elizabeth. Tony winner Shuler Hensley reprises his performance as the Monster.
Young Frankenstein features sets by Beowulf Boritt, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, and sound design by Gareth Owen.
