The award-winning team has written three new songs to add to the existing score of the 2010 animated film, based on the Grimm fairytale "Rapunzel."

The team is responsible for Sister Act, Leap of Faith, "Home on the Range" and new songs for the Broadway adaptation of Menken and Howard Ashman's The Little Mermaid. With others, Menken wrote Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Newsies, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Little Shop of Horrors, "Pocahontas," and other shows and movies.
Director Gordon Greenberg is helming the Tangled production team that includes choreographer Connor Gallagher, puppet designer Michael Curry, scenic designer Bradley Kaye and costume designer Paloma Young.
