The new musical London Swings will be showcased in two industry presentations December 10 and 12 at Theater 555 Off-Broadway. The work features music and lyrics by Michael Roberts (Golf: The Musical, Goldstein), with a book by Roberts and Shannon Hunt. 

The cast will include Anne Brummel, Nikita Burshteyn, Andrew Robin Cekala, Katie Emerson, Kate Loprest, Geena Quintos, Troy Valjean Rucker, and Kathy Voytko. Casting is by Michael Cassara Casting. 

London Swings follows 40-year-old Helen, who leaves a privileged life in Long Island to explore 1966 London's world of artists and hedonists. Amid the swingers and the highfliers, the musicians and the pleasure seekers, Helen seeks to discover her right place.

Christopher Scott will direct the presentations, with Roberts serving as music director. The stage manager will be Christine Viega. 

Eric Krebs and Judith Manocherian are producing. 

"It is always a surprise to encounter a fully formed new musical that is totally original, not based on a book, play, or film,” Krebs said in a statement. “Well, London Swings is such a musical. With these terrific talents of these seasoned actors and writers, I hope we can propel it to a full production in the near future."
