National Tour News Cast Set for 2025-2026 Chicago Tour

See who will be razzle dazzling cities across the country in the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic.

Casting is set for the 2025-2026 touring production of the Tony-winning revival of Chicago. The tour will open October 22 at The 5h Avenue Theatre in Seattle, Washington, following preview performances at The Capitol Theatre in Yakima, Washington.

The cast of the non-Equity tour will feature Ellie Roddy in her return to the cellblock as Roxie Hart, Claire Marshall making her debut as Velma Kelly along with Max Cervantes as Billy Flynn, Marc Christopher as Amos Hart, Illeana “illy” Kirven returning as Matron “Mama” Morton, and J. Clanton as Mary Sunshine.

The ensemble will include Tim Canali, Genevieve Hall, Jared Houde, Jaiden Jones, Amy Knips, Lacey Kohn, Helena Laing, Michael Mottram, Chandler James Pettus, Jake Siffert, Anna Speer, Nick Traficante, and returning cast members Terryn Cuozzo, Josh England, Serena Kozusko, Ryan McInnes, and Angelliz M. Rosado Ramos.

The Chicago band will be led by music director and conductor Andy Chen and associate conductor Chase Anderson and will include Erik Wakar, Jason Whitmore, Heather Kriesel, Matt TenBroek, Jordan Webb, Amanda Bateman, Landon Gaddis, Troy Bashor, Garrett Sullivan, and Aaron Kan.

With a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Ebb, the revival of Chicago, which continues at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre, is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording.

Set in 1920s Chicago, the hit musical follows housewife and nightclub dancer Roxie Hart, who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer.

This tour is directed by David Hyslop with choreography by Gregory Butler, based on the original direction by Tony winner Walter Bobbie and original choreography by Tony winner Ann Reinking

Chicago also features scenic design by Tony winner John Lee Beatty, costume design by Tony winner William Ivey Long, lighting design by Tony winner Ken Billington, sound design by Scott Lehrer, supervising music direction by Robert Billig, and casting by ARC.

The stage management team is led by Sofia Rose Itskovish and Elspeth Bustard. The company management team is led by Marc Ciemiewicz and Jess Fernando.

The revival of Chicago began life as one of the three annual Encores! presentations offered by City Center. The musical opened on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in November 14, 1996, where it remained through February 1997. The musical transferred to the Shubert Theatre, and played that house through January 26, 2003. The revival reopened at the Ambassador Theatre January 29 that year.

The tour is scheduled to continue through May 2026.
