The play, which is described in press materials as a "searing take on Britain's classes, old money and the ultra-privileged," will feature original cast members Leo Bill, Jolyon Coy, Richard Goulding, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Charlotte Lucas, Joshua McGuire, Tom Mison and Simon Shepherd, newly joined by Max Bennett, Pip Carter, Jessica Ransom, Steffan Rhodri and Edward Killingback (in his professional stage debut). The play is directed by Lyndsey Turner and produced by Royal Court Theatre Productions and Ambassador Theatre Group. Set in an oak-panelled room in Oxford, the play "revolves around ten young bloods with cut-glass vowels and deep pockets who are meeting, intent on restoring their right to rule. Members of an elite student dining society called The Riot Club, the boys are bunkering down for a wild night of debauchery, decadence and bloody good wine. But this isn’t just a jolly: they're planning a revolution."
