Free Broadway performances in NYC throughout the holiday season, all set under the starry Christmas decor at the Shops at Columbus Circle? That's the gift that keeps on giving for theatre fans, as casts from new musicals and long-running favorites return to the popular shopping hub to perform at 5 PM on select Thursdays for Broadway Under the Stars.
The performance series will kick off on November 13, with Moulin Rouge, Death Becomes Her, and & Juliet. November 20th will include performances from Mamma Mia!, The Outsiders, and Maybe Happy Ending. After a week off for Thanksgiving, the series will return December 4 with The Lion King, Aladdin, and Hell's Kitchen. The December 11 lineup will include SIX: The Musical, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), and The Queen of Versailles. The series will conclude December 18, with performances by Operation Mincemeat, The Book of Mormon, and Chicago.
