The new partnership, effective immediately, provides general management and executive-producing services to Broadway, Off-Broadway, touring and special event productions.

"This partnership celebrates an incredible working relationship that Daniel and I have shared for the past fifteen years,” said Gabay in a press statement. “Together we have built a unique approach to management and producing that puts the focus on relationships and the people we work with while creating innovating models for using data to maximize ticket sales and keep shows running profitably. I look forward to some very exciting years ahead for JumpStart Entertainment.”

“Working with Roy these many years has been an inspiring privilege,” added Kuney. “His expertise, in addition to his unparalleled integrity and enthusiasm, have made him not just a great mentor and business partner, but a close friend as well, and I am honored to join him in this thrilling new venture.”

Gabay formed Roy Gabay Productions in 1998 after several years of managing Broadway productions in partnership with Elizabeth McCann. Kuney joined the company in 2002 and since then the team has represented more than 40 theatrical productions, which have won a combined 13 Tony Awards, 14 Drama Desk Awards and three Pulitzer Prizes. Upcoming projects include Monsoon Wedding and Brooklynite.

JumpStart Entertainment is operating out of 262 West 38th Street, Suite 1106, the same office previously held by Roy Gabay Productions.
